Newsletter signup

We save your email address, signup date and consent record to prepare and administer Main Street newsletters. Our first edition is being prepared. We do not sell signup information. Email info@mymainstreet.news to withdraw consent or request deletion. Personalized subscriptions, paid memberships and text alerts are not available yet.

Optional traffic tracking

Free visitors choose whether to allow a first-party analytics cookie. If you allow it, we record visited page paths, navigation between pages on this site, visit time and a random browser identifier. We do not include names, email addresses, IP addresses, full referring URLs or search parameters in the analytics records. The cookie lasts 30 days. Records expire after 90 days; the editor dashboard shows aggregate counts over the last 30 days. Declining tracking does not prevent reading the site. Global Privacy Control signals disable optional analytics.

Use “Cookie preferences” on any page to change your choice. Declining deletes the tracking cookie and stops future optional collection; earlier records expire under the retention policy. Platform hosting may process network information separately to deliver and secure the website.

Essential storage and accounts

Your browser stores your cookie preference locally so we remember your choice. Hosting sign-in may use essential authentication cookies for editor access. Ordinary news reading does not require an account.
